London AGAIN!

First time we were in London, it was last year 23rd Sept, 2007; the day when we arrived from KLIA. 2nd time was in April 2008 (the 1st entry of this blog was about Mardhiyah in London) and the 3rd one was last July (Mardhiyah birthday), on the way to Europe.

This time, the trip was different coz all the expenses were claimable.. hehhehehe (mata duitan sikit sebab dah nak balik, duit pound dah kurang hehhehehe). Why claimable? coz it was a business trip as Ayah was having meeting at Petronas Office, situated in Harbour Exchange, Canary Warf, London.

Next to the Harbour Exchange. A lot of office building is now moved to this area. A lot of constructions too.

The meeting took place at 6 pm, 4th September. So, we departed from home in the morning (sempat lagi melencong ke Stoke-On-Trent and Birmingham on the way to London). This time, we stayed in Marriot Hotel at West India Quays, first time we had a five star hotel since we've been here.

While ayah was having meeting, we all waited in the office area. Well, not bad for the kids to have some fun as always when they see each other. Whoelse if not Iqbal hehheheh. This time, Mardhiyah is one of them hehhehehe.... tak cukup tangan dibuatnya. The best of all of course was the iftar time coz lapar sangat.... sebab tak bersahur pagi tuh.

The next day, we went to West Ham Stadium and Arsenal Emirates for last minutes shopping spree hehheehe... and headed home. The traffic was very bad and we all very exhausted. Arrived in Machester about the Iftar time so buka puasa kat Lahore Kebabish.

Moral of the story: Really-really grateful that we lived in Manchester not London. Know what I meant? No??? Emmm tak apalah..
